Heating Installation

Don’t go another winter in the North Shore without central heating this year. If you’ve been noticing uneven heating with ductless heating systems, it’s time to opt for a central system with Air Conditioning Mass.

Whether you have an older home or are building a new one, our heating company will head out to your house for a home evaluation to give you a quick and accurate project estimate. There’s rarely a home in which our experts can’t install a central heating system. Our goal is to make sure our customers are completely satisfied and their families are warm this season.

Not sure what type of central heating system will work best for your home? No worries, we’re here to help determine the most effective and cost efficient system. Our technicians will be able to give you affordable options from various providers, including American Standard, and will make sure to help you understand how your new system works.

Benefits of Central Heating
  • Save Money

Modern heating systems that are maintained and serviced properly can guarantee a lower utility bill all winter long. Installing a new heating system can significantly reduce your annual gas bill. Newer systems are more efficient in heating your home, which means the system doesn’t have to work as hard to reach the same temperature as an older model. The harder an HVAC system works, the more money it will cost in the long run.

  • Improved Health

If your home has been plagued with condensation and mold problems, a central heating system can help prevent these issues and improve your family’s health. Central HVAC systems can reduce the chances of asthma, bronchitis, strokes and heart attacks. Central heating can also protect your belongings by reducing condensation as mold issues due to improved air flow and consistent temperatures.

  • Environmentally Friendly

Central heating systems are known to lower carbon dioxide emissions, which means you and your family are lowering your carbon footprint and helping the environment. Gas central heating, which our technicians can install for you, will produce less emissions than any other heating system. These types of systems also require less cleaning and maintenance.

  • Hassle Free

Central heating systems are a wonderful benefit to any home. Aside from boosting your home’s value, you have full control over your indoor environment. HVAC systems come with a timer so you can come home from work to a warm home but not have to keep the heat running when you’re not there. There’s also a thermostat that’s fully programmable for your family’s comfort and convenience.

  • Reduced Risk

Using space heaters is a risk that no homeowner should have to take. Space heaters are accountable for a large portion of household fires during the winter months. There’s also a risk of damaging nearby furniture or severe burns if you have young children in your home. Instead of purchasing multiple heaters, the benefit of having a central heating system is that it is more reliable and won’t break as easily as a space heater.

Our Central Heating Installation Process

  1. First, we’ll assess your home to determine the size of the central heating system needed. If the system is too large, you could end up paying more to heat your home. If the system is too small, your home may not be thoroughly heated. We will always keep in mind all windows, doors and skylights from which your home may lose heat.
  2. Next, our heating experts will create a blueprint which lays out where all the duct work and electrical wires go within your home. The hot water boiler must be installed in a place (usually the basement) that allows for easy hookup to water pipes. The fan coil must also be located in a place which is protected from weather, such as in a dry garage or basement.
  3. The crew will then select the area for the return air opening and will cut a hole accordingly and feed the fan coil through the opening. We will always check to make sure the return air opening and fan coil are properly sized.
  4. After building a platform for the fan coil unit to keep it secure and to improve functionality, we attach the supply plenum ring to the fan coil cabinet. Then the condensate drain trap is connected to the fan coil unit.
  5. Once the duct work is installed within the walls of your home, our heating installation company routes these to terminator outlets (the visible grated vents). We will always ensure that these outlets fit properly and installed in strategic locations.
  6. Next our heating technicians install the thermostat on the wall closest to the return air box and set up the wiring connection to the fan coil unit.
  7. The last step of the central heating installation process is to test and make sure each part of the system works as it should. Our HVAC company guarantees that each system is installed according to state and federal regulations.
