Refrigeration

Air Conditioning Mass, a division of N.E.T.R. Inc., has an in-house staff of certified HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air-Conditioning – Refrigeration) technicians who are fully trained for installation, service, and repair. Our trained professionals are capable of satisfying all your large and small commercial refrigeration system needs for any commercial establishments throughout Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire and Southern Maine and Rhode Island.

Our North Shore and Boston area refrigeration company excel’s at staying on time and within your business budget — all in an effort to exceed your expectations. From commercial refrigeration design to commercial refrigeration installation, all of our projects receive our expertise in order to successfully fulfill your commercial refrigeration needs.

Types of Refrigeration Systems

There are two types of refrigeration systems: self-contained refrigeration units and remote refrigeration systems. Self-contained units are typically plug-in refrigerators and freezers that are moved into position. Remote refrigeration systems typically have the condensing unit located on a roof or in an equipment room connected to the evaporator coil via the two refrigerant lines.

Both of these systems are highly complex, with many components; preventative maintenance programs help ensure all these components are working effectively and efficiently.

The biggest benefit to performing regular preventative maintenance on your refrigerator systems is saving money. The cost savings through preventative maintenance programs often completely offset the investment in the program. A comprehensive maintenance program will save your business money by:

  • Extending the operating life of your equipment, therefore delaying capital expenditures needed to replace existing equipment
  • Reducing the number and frequency of expensive emergency service calls
  • Reducing electrical consumption through more efficient refrigeration
